SIGNAL connects buyer questions, dated answer observations, cited sources and referral reporting so visibility can be reviewed alongside the commercial question it is meant to support.
12.1% of signups. Ahrefs, June 16, 2025: 0.5% of visits over 30 days. Signups are not revenue; this is industry context.
8 × 3 × 2; questions, named engines and dated checks in the planned diagnostic. Planned service scope, not forty-eight completed observations or proven revenue uplift.

Track the path from answer to visit to conversion
A mention is not a sale. The useful operating path is to agree buyer questions, capture dated answers, inspect the cited sources, then examine identifiable referral and conversion evidence before prioritizing an action.
Why the commercial question matters
In its June 16, 2025 own-site study, Ahrefs reported 0.5% of visits and 12.1% of signups from AI search over a thirty-day window, with a 23-times conversion-per-visit comparison against traditional organic search. These are Ahrefs’ figures, not SIGNAL’s results and not revenue.
Do not turn an industry into a promise
Ahrefs’ separate analysis of 81,947 sites in May–June 2025 found more mixed user behavior, including shallower browsing and more bounces from AI referrals. The relevant claim is that referral quality is worth measuring, not that every business will receive the same uplift.
